i love being outside when we have a big moon and lots of moonshadow. It’s so bright out right now that i don’t need any kind of flashlight to see in the clearings. The trees create a deep shadow around them but the moonlight still sneaks in among the trees where it can. The crickets are very loud in the warm, still night air. it still smells like summer.
