Blossoms in Lotus

This is the driveway. It doesn’t always look like this. In fact, right now, there are 3-foot tall thistle plants growing on the right side of the road and the grass is dry and yellow and some of these trees had to be removed because they were broken or pushed over by the December snowstorm. And I rarely am up and outside early enough to see the mist still hanging in the air. I must have been taking Nick out for a walk when I took this. He is a morning kitty which is a real drag for him that he lives with night people. Still, he manages. My cats only go out for supervised walks because they are city kitties and the coyotes, foxes, and raccoons don’t care where their food grew up. But I digress. As usual.
